Research interests:

1. The development of new selective analytical procedures for the isolation, concentration and determination of biologically active compounds (psychotropic, hypolipidemic, antifungal, antihistamine, α-blockers, antibiotics) and plant sterols in the environmental samples, pharmaceuticals and dairy food products. Modern extraction techniques (SPE, ME, LLE, SBSE, USAEME, DLLME) using designer solvents (IL, DES, SUPRAS), chromatographic (LC-MS/MS, HPLC-DAD, HPLC-CAD/FLD), spectroscopic and voltammetric methods for the isolation, separation and determination of these compounds.

2. The evaluation of the photostability of dyes, pharmaceuticals and other substances under simulated environmental conditions; identification of their metabolites employing chromatographic and chemometric methods.

3. Synthesis of the multifunctional composites based on inorganic semiconductors and carbon nanostructures of photo- and electrocatalytic properties.
